I am pleased to let you know that following the temporary closure of this branch at the end of April, when we had to vacate the previous premises housing Whitstable Post Office, we will be restoring an interim service to the town in early July.

With the agreement of Canterbury City Council we will be siting one of our portacabin units in the Gladstone Road car park, which is 50 metres from the previous location. The service will be run by a temporary postmaster, while we continue to look for a suitable retailer to operate Whitstable Post Office on a permanent basis.

Branch opening times will remain the same as previously offered and, the same range of services will be available with the exception of the Digital Application Service. There will be ramped access into the portacabin and internally and externally, customer access will meet Post Office Ltd’s own accessibility standards and all applicable legislation.[/wr_text][/wr_column][/wr_row]
